WHO CAN DO IT?
Hyaluron Infusion should not be used on patients with the following contraindications.
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Under 18 years of age
• Hypersensitive
• Severe allergies marked by a history of anaphylaxis
• Active oral herpes
• History of a compromised immune system
• Undergoing immunosuppressive therapy
• History of Keloid Scarring
• Active Acne
• Myasthenia Gravis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or any other neuromuscular disorders
• Autoimmune disease
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FILLERS DONE WITH A HYALURON PEN AND A NEEDLE?
The hyaluron pen is completely non-invasive and injects the filler into a shallower layer of dermis than needles. The hyaluron pen significantly minimizes or eliminates risks of occlusion, infection, and pain.
WHAT HAPPENS TO OUR OWN HYALURONIC ACID? WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ADD HYALURONIC ACID TO THE SKIN?
The body’s hyaluronic acid has a pretty short lifespan (around 2-4 days). Filler molecules can create more connections to other molecules, slowing down enzymatic degradation. Basically, it just takes more time and allows the Hyaluronic Acid inserted to retain the water inside the skin.
HOW TO PREP:
• DO NOT TAKE MEDICATIONS 24-48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
• DO NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL 24-48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
• PLEASE AVOID PRODUCTS LIKE RETINOL
• I RECOMMEND TO SCRUB YOUR LIPS THE NIGHT BEFORE
• CONSUME A LOTS OF WATER AT LIST ONE WEEK PRIOR (2 LITTER)
• BE PREPARE FOR SOME SWELLING , REDNESS, AND BRUISING
• TO ACHIEVE BEST RESULTS YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY OTHER TREATMENTS THAT CONCERN THE DERMAL LAYER OF YOUR SKIN 2-4 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
HYALURONIC ACID GEL HEALING
The more you know about the recovery process the easier it is for you to cope with that. The healing process can be divided into 3 stages below. During the 2-4 weeks after the procedure, you will experience all these phases.
• Healing of the irritation on the surface layers of the skin and management of potential lumps;
• Changes in the shape and thickness of skin;
• Achieving a stable new state.
BE PREPARED FOR SOME SWELLING AND BRUISING. Immediately after the treatment, there may be redness, bruising, swelling, tenderness, and/or itching near the treatment area. Avoid itching, massaging, poking, or picking around the spots that mark the insertion of filler. This is completely normal and generally disappears within a few hours to a few days. If these symptoms last more than 3 days, please contact me. You may take acetaminophen (Tylenol or similar) to reduce any pain as necessary. You can add a bit of coconut oil in the following days. Some clients have also found that Arnica – a natural ointment commonly used to reduce bruising, works very well in the treatment area. For the first 24 hours following treatment, you should avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat, and consumption of alcoholic beverages. This minimizes the risk of temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment sites. An ice pack can be applied to the site if you experience swelling.
LUMPS AND BUMPS ARE TOTALLY NORMAL WITH HYALURON PEN FILLERS. Initial bumps can be due to injection site injury and swelling (not necessarily the product). Lumps and bumps tend to disappear on their own but can take up to 2 weeks to integrate and spread. After the swelling goes down, if there is still a lump, apply soft pressure onto the lump and hold for up to ten minutes, 2 – 3 times daily. After 2 – 3 days of doing this all lumps should be gone.
DO NOT CONSIDER THE RESULT OF THE INITIAL PROCEDURE TO BE FINAL. Many clients have experienced mild anxiety when they have studied how the shape of lips or facial smile-lines changes during the first couple of weeks after the procedure. This is completely normal and there is no need to worry because of that. In the beginning, the treatment area sometimes looks a bit asymmetric, it will most probably change quite significantly during the first month after the procedure.

Aftercare Tips after a Facial Treatment
Here are some basic skincare habits you can incorporate immediately after a facial treatment for longer-lasting effects.
1. Avoid putting on makeup or other facial products for at least 6 hours after your treatment. Your skin contains lots of pores to help it “breathe”, and applying makeup or piling on facial products like moisturisers or serums right after a facial not only undermines the effects of the facial, but will also clog your pores and congest your skin.
2. Avoid picking at your skin or use abrasive skincare products like scrubs for at least 72 hours after your treatment. It is normal to experience slight redness after a facial, or itching after an extraction. However, your therapist will apply light cream or moisturiser to calm your skin and help it heal. It’s important to let your skin repair itself after undergoing a facial treatment. Touching your face or scrubbing your skin will worsen it.
3. Stay away from direct heat for up to 48 hours after your treatment.
Direct heat can include sunbeds, saunas or hot spas. It is best to avoid suntanning on the beach right after a facial as well, as your skin is completely raw and vulnerable during this time, and may not be well-protected against the sun’s harmful UV rays.
• Continue your skincare routine: cleanse, tone and moisturise.
• Don’t sleep with makeup on.
• Regularly hydrate yourself with 6 to 8 glasses of water per day.
• Maintain a healthy and balanced diet.
